1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using DocuGarage, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use the service.

2. User Accounts and Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

3. Service Description

DocuGarage is a web-based application designed to help you manage vehicle-related documents, including ownership records, maintenance history, and service documentation. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.

4. Plans and Payments

DocuGarage is offered on a Free plan and on paid plans: Pro (billed monthly or yearly) and Lifetime (a one-off payment). Paid plans are processed by Stripe, our payment provider.

  • Paid plans are available only to customers with a UK or US billing address.
  • Payments made with a billing address outside the UK and US are refunded in full automatically. See our Refund Policy.
  • Prices shown at the point of purchase are final. No VAT is charged, because DocuGarage is not currently registered for VAT.
  • If VAT is added in future, subscribers will be notified first. Prices will stay the same and only invoices will change.
  • You can cancel a Pro subscription at any time. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

6. Fair Use

Paid plans include fair-use limits, such as the number of vehicles, documents and the amount of storage an account may use. We may change these limits over time without changing the price of your plan.

If your account is over the limits of your plan, you can still view, edit, delete and export your data. You cannot add new items until you are back within the limits. Nothing is deleted when this happens. If you need more capacity, contact us at contact@docugarage.com.

7. Data Handling and Privacy

Your use of DocuGarage is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your data.

8. Limitation of Liability

DocuGarage is provided "as is" without any warranties, expressed or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information you document in the application. You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any vehicle information, service records, documents, or other data you enter into DocuGarage. In the event that a vehicle is mis-sold or misrepresented based on information documented in this application, we, the company, shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from such misrepresentation. You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal right to use such information in connection with any vehicle sale or transaction.

DocuGarage cannot be used to prove ownership of a vehicle or document.

9. User Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload to DocuGarage. You are solely responsible for the content you submit, including ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload such content.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
